Week 8

Room 19 has had another busy week at school.

Neil Shaskey Art Workshop

At this workshop we learned how to draw and shade our drawing.

Music

During the week we also spent a bit of time doing music with Mr McCallum.

During the session we learned about how to play different musical instruments.

Week 6-7

Another full on week for the children of Room 19.

This week we were lucky enough to swim not once but three times, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

During the week we also had a special visit from Constable Ross. He talked to us about our body and the different types of touches.

Week 5

Another week bites the dust. Room 19 has had another great week full of fun and learning.

I would like to welcome four new children from Room 16 that will be joining Room 19 starting from Monday.

We started the week by learning what to do during an Earthquake.

Room 19 has had a busy first week of school, settling into their new classroom and meeting their new classmates.

This week we learned about which places in our school are safe to play in.

A little about me!!!

Hello year one students! My name is Mr. Sy and I will be your teacher in Room 19. This is my first year of being a teacher, so I am very excited for all the new experiences and learning we will share together.

I would like to share to you a little about myself. My two most favorite things to do are playing the ukulele and basketball. (Oh, and a little bit of netball to!!!) What about you? Well, I can not wait to meet you all. I am sure we will have a fantastic year full of smiles and laughter. (Oh, and of course some singing!!!)
