Term 2 Week 1

Room 19 had a great first week back at school, with all children settling back into the school routine very well. 

This week we started doing Reading and Writing collaboratively with Room 18. This was very well received by the students and a great success.

This week we also spent a bit of time learning about what the ANZAC Day means to us.

We learned that it is important for us to remember those who fought for our freedom.

As a way of remembering them, we made our own poppy.
​ We also had a special ANZAC Assembly to end our week.

Week 8

The last week of Term was very fun and full of learning. Room 18 and 19 worked together to produce our own self-portraits.

During the week we learned how to draw and paint our own faces.

(It was tricky at the start but we all did our best.)
