Transitions

This week our focus for our values lessons have been how we move around during transitions (moving from one place to another).

Here are the rules and expectations we discussed:
1.) Keep our hands and feet to ourselves (Keep everyone safe)
2.) Use our NO VOICE (So we do not disturb other classrooms)
3.) Keep up with the child in front of us. (So we do not get left behind)
4.) Look in front (So we can see any obstacles or dangerous things)

Ukulele Lessons

Ukulele lesson on Monday has been really popular for the Year 1 children. It is great to see children learning to play ukulele through sing-a-long and fun. The children have learned how to correctly hold a ukulele, as well as strumming to a constant beat. If you would like to join please come and see Mr Sy in Room 19.

(Here we are in action!)

New Library Corner

This is Room 18 and 19's new and improved Library Corner. In our new Library Corner we have 2 bookshelves, full of our favourite stories, as well as cushions and a couch. In this area will will use our no voice, this is so we do not disturb the learning of our friends.
