Lockdown Practice

To make sure we are ready for any situation, the whole school had a practice on what to do in case of a Lockdown.

Today we learned that there are two types of situation. One is called "Evacuation" and the other is called "Lockdown".

In case of an "Evacuation", we calmly go out of the classroom and meet at the school assembly point (Cricket Pitch).

In case of a "Lockdown", we calmly stay in our classroom and lie on our tummy in the middle of the room. We do this until Mrs. Trotter, Mrs. Martin or Mrs. Hall release our class. When released we them go out and meet at the assembly point.

Showing CARE in the Library

This fortnight the school's focus is on showing the CARE values in the Library.

As a class, we discussed what this means and we decided on how it should look.

1.) We wait outside for our turn. (Quietly and Sensibly)

2.) When we choose a book, we choose sensibly. (No voice)

3.) After choosing, we find a sensible place to read the book.

4.) After reading, we return the book where we got it from.

5.) To borrow a book, we line up sensibly and wait our turn.
