Jelly Park

On Friday we had our trip to Jelly Park! It was so much fun - we got to practice all our swimming skills and had a lovely shared lunch. Check out just a few of the photos from our day :)

Action Stations!

This week we have started our action stations during literacy and numeracy time. We have been learning how to do our SML's (self-managing learning tasks) and co-operate! We know there is only allowed to be three people at an action station at a time and we are only allowed on the ipads for 10 minutes.

Co-operative Games

We have been learning to play co-operative games fairly. Here we are playing sneak up granny. The person who is granny has to remember to only choose people who they catch moving and we need to watch out for others!

Fantastic lining up

During the learning plan we have been learning how we can transition (move ) safely around the school. Here we are lining up to go for fitness outside.
We know we are successful when
- we stay in our line
- keep our hands to ourselves
- use quiet talking voices
- watch out for others
- be a great role model

Earthquake Drill

This week Room 19 has been learning what we would do if there was an earthquake! Here we are practicing the turtle position in our classroom. Our heads are behind our head and we are crouched down low to the ground. We are prepared :)

Welcome to Room 19's Blog!

Room 19 is looking forward to an exciting year ahead! Welcome :)
On this blog you will find regular updates on what we have been learning and doing at school. You can also find the newsletter and links to students blogs. Parents/caregivers enjoy viewing all the awesome things we have been up to!

The Playground

In Room 19 this week we have been learning about where we can play in the playground! We have been practising our transitioning around the school and having a look at the safe areas. Thumbs up means safe to play and we cross our arms for out of bounds!
